Anna

Registered Manager

For Anna, care isn't just a career; it’s a lifelong calling. She first stepped into a care home at age 15 for work experience and "fell in love" with the profession instantly.

To Anna, every hard day is eclipsed the moment she sees a resident smile, a philosophy that has guided her through 18 years as a Deputy Manager.
After meeting our Registered Manager, Allison at a professional forum years prior, Anna officially joined Tynwald in 2020.

She brings a "pay it forward" mentality to everything she does, leading a team she is immensely proud of for always going above and beyond.

When she isn’t at Tynwald, Anna is deeply rooted in the Sandwich community. Whether she’s spending time with her godchildren, caring for her great aunt, or relaxing at home with her 12 year-old cat, Pepper!

Anna's life is defined by the same compassion she brings to work every day.

Paula

Care Compliance Manager

Paula is the driving force behind our high standards at Tynwald.

With over six years of experience with us, she transitioned into care from a successful career as an entrepreneur in the catering and restaurant industry.

That background in business ownership means she has a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality that is second to none.
But Paula’s "all-in" attitude doesn't stop at the office. A former competitive swimmer for her county and an Olympic level trainee in the UK, she brings an athlete's discipline to everything she does.

Whether she’s hitting the slopes for a skiing and snowboarding trip or navigating the roads on her Triumph 675 Daytona, Paula is always on the move.
When it’s time to slow down, you’ll find her tackling a complex jigsaw puzzle, relaxing in her hot tub, or enjoying a well-earned shopping trip.

Carol

Clinical Compliance Manager

If there is anyone who knows our home inside and out, it’s Carol. This year marks her 20th anniversary with us!

Two decades of dedication that started when she first joined as our Activities Team Leader.

Over the years, Carol has worn many hats, from working on the day team to serving as our cook, and she truly considers the residents and staff her "second family."

Today, Carol applies that deep-rooted knowledge to her role in Clinical Compliance, ensuring our care standards are as high as the passion she brings to work every day.

When she isn’t keeping things running smoothly at the home, you’ll likely see Carol buzzing around Hythe on her moped.

She is a devoted grandmother who loves spending time with her grandkids, staying active with a swim, or heading off to Benidorm for a well-deserved bit of sunshine.

Rose

House Keeping Manager

Rose knows that a clean, comfortable environment is the foundation of a happy home.

Over the past two years, she has led our housekeeping team with a philosophy that goes far beyond just tidying up.

For Rose, the absolute best part of her day is the time she spends speaking with our residents; she believes that every interaction is an opportunity to brighten someone’s morning.
Rose loves the fast-paced nature of Tynwald, where "every day is different." That high energy follows her home, too!

When she isn't managing the home, she’s usually running a "taxi service" for her children or catching up on the latest sports.
She is a huge animal lover and is most often found out and about with her best friend, Solo, a beautiful chocolate Labrador who keeps her just as busy as her work does.

Ethan

Health Care Assistant

Sometimes, the best caregivers are those who already know our home inside and out.

Ethan originally joined Tynwald nine months ago as part of our domestic team, but his natural rapport with residents didn't go unnoticed.

When an opportunity arose to move into care, Ethan jumped at the chance to begin his training and he hasn’t looked back since.
Ethan is a "massive hit" with both his colleagues and our residents, bringing a refreshing energy to the floor every day.

For him, the best part of the job is the simple joy of helping others, a trait that carries over into his personal life, where he spends much of his time looking after his own grandparents.

When he isn’t at Tynwald, you’ll likely spot Ethan’s "little red TT" cruising around the local area. He’s a fan of the simple pleasures: a good drive, a relaxing drink at his local pub, and quality time with his friends and family.

Kate

Activities Co-ordinator

Kate believes that every resident has a unique story to tell, and her mission is to make sure those stories are heard and celebrated.

Coming from a background as a Teaching Assistant in Ashford, she brings a patient, engaging, and creative energy to Tynwald.

For Kate, the best part of her job is that "no two days are the same."

Whether she’s organising a group event or sitting down for a one-on-one chat, she loves the variety and the deep personal connections she builds with our residents.

Outside of work, Kate’s life is just as vibrant. As a busy mum of five, she’s always on the go, often heading to the beach for some fresh air.

You'll usually find her accompanied by Sloan, her beloved Cavachon, who is a big part of her world.
